Standing Hip Circles

Slow, controlled hip circles to gently mobilise the hip joint after sitting.

Illustration of a person standing and gently circling one knee for hip mobility
  1. Stand holding a chair or desk for balance if needed.
  2. Shift weight onto one leg.
  3. Slowly circle the other knee outward, then forward, in a comfortable range.
  4. Keep the movement slow and controlled — this isn't about speed.
  5. Reverse direction halfway, then switch legs.

Typical duration: about 2 minute(s).
