About

Editorial policy

Our principles

  • Modern exercise and rehabilitation science is the backbone of our content.
  • We provide education, not diagnosis, and never give personalised medical advice.
  • We don't sell supplements, devices, or treatments.

How a page gets published

  1. A named author drafts the page, citing sources where claims are made.
  2. Pages that make clinical or traditional-practice claims are reviewed by a named clinical or traditional-practice reviewer before publication.
  3. Every page shows a review date, and is marked "Needs clinical review" until that review is complete.
  4. Our publishing pipeline refuses to build a health page that's missing an author, a review date, a reviewer where required, or sources where required — this is enforced automatically, not left to memory.

Language we avoid

We don't use words like "cures," "treats," "reverses," "heals," "guarantees," "pain-free," "prevents surgery," or "miracle." We prefer honest, hedged language: "may help," "evidence suggests," "some people find," "ask a qualified clinician."

Corrections

If you spot an error, please contact us. We'll review, correct where warranted, and update the page's review date.
